Alexander studied in workshops with several nationally acclaimed artists including Marc Chatov, Roseta Santiago, Robert Johnson, Tom Browning, Ken Backhaus, Kevin MacPherson, Anne Blair Brown and Bill Davidson.
She works in oils and is much influenced by the Old Masters. Her subjects include still life, portraiture and plein air landscapes.
